As the infrastructure M&A market moves closer to price equilibrium between buyers and sellers, the 2010 forum will discuss in detail the myriad of investment opportunities and the issues & challenges investors face in turning these into successful transactions.

Infrastructure Investors Forum Europe 2010 will include a discussion of investment opportunities in Europe’s renewable energy sector. With its low correlation to the economic cycle, renewable energy looks like being an attractive opportunity for infrastructure investors as it moves up the political agenda.

Building on one of the successes of 2009, end-investors in infrastructure funds, particularly pension funds, are actively seeking alternatives to the current third party managed infrastructure fund model. Certain pension plans have established investment teams that understand the asset class with others now evaluating this as a potential way forward. As well as looking at principal investment opportunities the event will examine what the future will look like for funds, large and small.
