Mark is Sector Head for Global Infrastructure and Transportation at DLA Piper, which has 66 offices in 28 countries. Mark has been involved in privatisation, project financing, PPP, PFI, government contracts and M&A joint ventures across the various sub-sectors of infrastructure including transport, civil government, aerospace and defence. Mark has established and led for 10 years, a group of 200 lawyers who have completed over 180 PPP transactions with over GBP10 billion infrastructure capital expenditure. Mark is currently working on the largest public private project in the UK for Hitachi Limited, John Laing and Barclays Private Equity for the provision of Intercity Express trains and a number of other infrastructure projects in North America, CEE, Middle East and Europe.
