Nicolas Merigo

Nicolas Merigo is CEO of Marguerite Adviser SA, investment advisor to the 2020 European Fund for Energy, Climate Change & Infrastructure (Marguerite Fund).

Prior to joining Marguerite, he was Head Partner of Santander Infrastructure Capital. Throughout his 17 years with Santander Group, Mr. Merigo has held several senior positions both within the bank and within the bank's portfolio companies, including:
-Deputy Manager for BCH's Industrial Group Division, where he was responsible for investing, managing and divesting the bank's eur9 billion industrial portfolio.
-Member of the Management Committee and Corporate Development Manager of AUNA telecoms group.
-Mr. Merigo has 20 years experience in private equity, M&A and asset management. Track record of over 90 transactions, including 17 infrastructure-related investments .

Prior to joining Santander, Mr. Merigo was an Investment Banker with Salomon Brothers and Lazard Freres, and a Business Analyst with McKinsey & Co. Mr. Merigo holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Imperial College of Science & Technology (University of London), and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management (UCLA).
