John is a Corporate Finance Partner in PwC with particular responsibility for the team's advisory activities in the environmental sector. John has more than twenty years' experience in the delivery of infrastructure investment using project finance having advised a wide range of public and private sector clients on projects in the energy, water and solid waste sectors in the UK and worldwide.

John has exceptional experience of the challenges of financing energy infrastructure on a limited recourse basis in current markets having advised Cory Environmental on financing the Riverside Energy from Waste project, which achieved financial close in July 2008, and Viridor, Laing and Ineos on the Greater Manchester Waste PFI procurement and the linked Runcorn Energy from Waste project which closed in April 2009.
